BT's training and conference centre at Kents Hill had excess capacity. They needed a short & snappy sales brochure to persuade other companies to hire it, turning slack time into cash money.

Right facilities, right price

- right where you need it

How many times have you organised a conference or training event only to find a gulf opening up between glossy expectation and frustrating reality? As ‘convenient locations’ turn into lost, late delegates; ‘state of the art technology’ breaks down (or never turns up); and ‘little extras’ turn reasonable quotes into budget-busting bills?

At Kents Hill, things are a little different.

Kents Hill, purpose built and under ten years old, delivers what it promises:

At BT, we take investing in people seriously. Which is why when we designed and built a centre for training and conferences, we did it properly. Meaning:

A location in the heart of the country, well-connected by road (M1) and rail, and within easy reach of Heathrow, Birmingham and Luton airports

Excellent service from a team of specialists

Real flexibility, with rooms and other facilities designed for adaptability, for different numbers and different needs

The technological back-up you’d expect from BT, from overhead projectors to videoconferencing: even bedrooms are equipped for business, with well-lit desks and direct-dial lines

In short, the location, the tools and the back-up you need to really get to work.

Great food, great facilities, great value

After a hard day’s work, you need to unwind. That’s why we’ve built in the best in leisure and dining facilities, so you can really make the most of your after hours hours.

Everything’s on-site, including:

Comfortable, stylish bedrooms (275 single, 54 double - all ensuite including no-smoking accommodation and facilities for guests with special needs

Excellent food and wine, with a restaurant seating 300, private dining facilities, and wide and varied menus, with provision for special dietary needs

Lounge bar, TV and pool table

Self-contained leisure club, a two minute walk from the main conference centre, featuring

large indoor swimming pool

steam room, sauna and jacuzzi

fully equipped gymnasium

two squash courts

large sports hall, for badminton, volleyball, 5-a-side football etc

There’s even a separate, self-contained, on-site training centre - Kingfisher House - with its own reception area, dining facilities and syndicate rooms; a presentation suite seating 80 - or two separate groups of 30; and 30 double bedrooms.

All to be adapted to your particular needs. Whether you want a theme night dinner, a fitness instructor or a team sports event organised, just ask: we’re here to deliver more than you’re used to, for rather less than you’d expect.

You can use Kents Hill for as few as fifteen people, during the day, overnight, or simply on a bed-only basis.
